What an exciting year this has been! An idea grew from one simple concept (to initiate a powerful affirmation link from mother to daughter) to people giving it to friends and loved ones of all ages!
Positive reactions to the messages and the prototypes were the motivation I needed to put the "I am enough" and "Unconditionally Loved" bracelets in production.
Thus began the time-consuming search to locate the best components, finding quality local craftsmen and the successes and trials of initiating a new business.
Amidst it all, I did make time to enter Hewlett-Packard's "What do you have to say?" small business contest and I won the national grand prize! Part of the prize included HP experts working with me to develop a suburb logo and a beautiful website.
Are the "I am enough" and "Unconditionally Loved" bracelets fulfilling a need? Apparently so. Interest is high and personal stories often are told when a bracelet is purchased. Women have shared stories about themselves, their child, a co-worker, close friend, family member, etc. all with the intent of conveying a message that will have a meaningful impact on the recipient's life.
I'm sending a message first, then selling a bracelet. I am offering a bracelet that affirms you are worthy and you are special. When given as a gift, it says I believe in you. For oneself, your own worthiness is affirmed, at times something too easily forgotten.
And the story continues…
